nhl- CBA News

from 640 Toronto, The CBA talks continue today in New York and they are expected to last all week again. No timeline for their conclusion is set and no press conference is pending. That could all change of course if the work pace gets sped up. The talks are listed as "day to day", so again they could be done tomorrow or Friday. After a deal in principle is announced, the league will hold a board of governors meeting to go over the deal and at the same time the players will embark on ratifying the deal.
A rumor sent to me this weekend by an NHL GM indicated that teams are expecting and even shot in the draft lottery. The NHL had no comment when I asked them about that.
