nhl- The end is Near

from Stan Fischler and MSG Network, The NHL’s Collective Bargaining Agreement is getting its final sandpapering here and there on Tuesday night for delivery to the showroom, possibly as early as Wednesday afternoon.
"We may be working right through Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning to get this thing done," one of the chief negotiators tells me. "If things go well, it could be wrapped up sometime on Wednesday afternoon."
Should all the pieces fall into place, it is expected that a more-than-600-page document will be prepared for the players to take home to Toronto in anticipation of a full-membership vote and then a hoped-for ratification. If the players deliver a green light to the new collective bargaining agreement, it then would be submitted to the 30-member Board Of Governors to complete ratification. That could happen sometime later next week in New York....the rest of the article is the same as the one posted earlier in the day.
