nhl- PA Exec. Committee Approves Deal

from Newsday, After an all-night session capped nine straight days of talks, a new collective bargaining agreement was reached Wednesday morning between the NHL and the Players Association, Newsday has learned.
The NHLPA's executive committee approved the deal, which is expected to be made official in a news release later today by the NHL. The union will advise its members of the deal at noon through a conference call it has scheduled with player representatives from each of the 30 teams....more...
