nhl- Stan's Take

from The Maven and MSG Network, On Sunday, for example, the negotiators not only convened all day but into the evening and remained at the bargaining table until almost 1:30 a.m. Monday morning.
And with hardly a respite for breakfast, they were back, putting the – hopefully! – finishing touches on the agreement before 10 a.m. Monday. This marked the eighth straight day of talks.
“I’ve never worked so hard on anything in all my life,” one of the league attorneys tells me.
The Monday reconvening marked the 81st time the group has negotiated since Commissioner Gary Bettman cancelled the 2004-2005 season February 16.
Will it be finished Monday?
“Only if everything breaks right,” a negotiator directly involved tells me.
Tuesday or Wednesday are more likely target dates for finishing....more, the rest is just a re-hash of his story from yesterday and he also throws in a bit about Winston Churchill.
